SB 509     RELATING TO DIETITIANS                             CPN,WAM
           Establishes dietitian  licensing  program  in DCCA.

SB 510     RELATING TO DIETITIANS                             CPN,WAM
           Establishes licensure of dietitions.  (KANNO)

SB 613     RELATING TO TOBACCO PRODUCTS                       CPN,JDC
           Creates a statewide  licensure mechanism for retail
           tobacco sales which  provides  for licensing retail
           tobacco   vendors,   inspection   and  enforcement,
           adjudication of fines  and  penalties, and training
           and  education  for  retail  merchants  and  public
           awareness of the State's statute governing the sale
           of tobacco to minors.  (MATSUNAGA/CHUMBLEY)

SB 1127    RELATING TO INSURANCE                              CPN,WAM
           Establishes the health insurance revolving fund for
           the purpose of  providing  a  means  to pay for the
           costs of regulating health insurance.

SB 364     RELATING TO TAXATION                               CPN,WAM
           Includes within  general  excise  tax exemption for
           insurance  companies'   gross   proceeds,  proceeds
           received   by    corporate    attorney-in-fact   in
           connection with  administrative functions performed
           on behalf of reciprocal insurers.

SB 611     RELATING TO PRIVATE COURT REPORTERS                CPN,JDC
           Establishes standards  of  practice  and prohibited
           practices for private court reporters.

SB 492     RELATING TO COURT REPORTERS                        CPN,JDC

 
           Prohibits private court  reporters from giving more

SB 651     RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION                    CPN,JDC
           Makes unlawful the shifting of advertising costs to
           recipients     of      electronically     broadcast
           advertisements.  Provides for damages and penalties
           for violations.   Sets  jurisdiction and venues for
           civil action.    Provides  for affirmative defenses
           and criminal penalties for forgery of domain name.

SB 750     RELATING TO THE SMALL BUSINESS DEFENDER            CPN,WAM
           Transfers  the  small  business  defender  from the
           legislative branch to the executive branch with the
           DCCA.
