HB 499 HD2 RELATING TO THE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEMCPN/WLH,WA
        M
        Provides conservation and resources law enforcement
        officers with the same retirement benefits as police
        officers and firefighters.  (CHANG, KAHOOHALAHALA,
        GOODENOW, MORITA) 

HB1041 HD2 RELATING TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES HEALTH FUND  CPN, WAM
(SB 1287)  Authorizes the board of trustees of the public
        employees health fund to use reimbursements and rate
        credits to benefit identifiable employee-
        beneficiaries.  (SAY B/R)

HB 353 HD2 RELATING TO REAL ESTATE BROKERS AND SALESPERSONS CPN
        Simplifies registration of real estate brokers and
        salespersons.  Provides prelicensing examination
        options.  Authorizes licensing of limited liability
        companies.  (MENOR B/R)

HB 791 HD2 RELATING TO REAL ESTATE BROKERS AND SALESPERSONS CPN
        Codifies real estate brokers' responsibilities
        including continuing education of associated real
        estate licensees and staff.  Combines existing real

 
        estate continuing education provisions into a single
        section and mandates that continuing education be
        based on current information, law, and rules.  (MENOR

HB1267 HD1 RELATING TO FORECLOSURES                   CPN, JDC
        Makes general amendments to the alternate power of
        sale foreclosure process, including clarifying that
        public notices be mailed and delivered rather than
        sent, and modifying the public information requirement
        for lenders using the new process.  (CACHOLA, GARCIA,
        MENOR)

HB 47  HD1 RELATING TO PHYSICIANS ASSISTANTS               CPN
        Provides for the licensing, rather than certification,
        of physician assistants who are nationally certified.

HB 749 HD3 RELATING TO DIETITIANS                     CPN, WAM
        Establishes a process for the certification of
        dietitians.  (KAWAKAMI, MENOR, SANTIAGO)

Persons wishing to testify should submit 40 copies of their
testimony to the committee clerk, Room 202, State Capitol, 24
hours prior to the hearing. Testimony may also be faxed if less
than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at
586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at
least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  When faxing, please
indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and
time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for
submittal.

If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services
to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language
interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for
the disabled), please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior
to the hearing so arrangements can be made.

Public Folder.  A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the
measures and testimonies for the hearing will be available for
