     Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred S.C.R. No.
194, S.D. 1, H.D. 1, entitled: 

     "SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION URGING THE COLLABORATION OF
     THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, THE
     UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII, COUNTY DEPARTMENTS OF PARKS AND
     RECREATION, AND OTHER AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPROVE
     THE FITNESS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY OF HAWAII'S CHILDREN AND
     YOUTH,"

begs leave to report as follows:

     The purpose of this concurrent resolution is to urge the
collaboration of the Department of Health, Department of
Education, the University of Hawaii, County Departments of Parks
and Recreation, and other agencies and organizations to improve
the fitness and physical activity of Hawaii's children and youth.

     As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your
Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of S.C.R. No. 194,
