Sir:

Your Committee on Ways and Means, to which was referred S.B.
No. 1158 entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COMPENSATION
     OF CRIME VICTIMS,"

the crime scene, clothing taken as evidence, lost earnings due to
crime-related injuries, funeral and burial expenses, moving
expenses, counseling, medical care, and pain and suffering. Your
Committee further finds that this appropriation request is based
on the compensation awards paid during the last fiscal year.

appropriated to an unspecified amount to facilitate continuing
discussion on this matter.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
