RELATING TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE.

Requires that substance abuse testing be conducted according to the manufacturer's rather than the federal government's package insert.  Amends definition of "substance abuse on-site screening test" to include tests used for forensic testing as a workplace testing device.  (SD1)

RELATING TO DESIGN PROFESSIONALS.

Provides for a design claims conciliation panel, which would render an advisory determination on any claim against a design professional for failure to meet the standard of care.  (SD1)

RELATING TO FIREARMS.

Permits owner of a pistol to use any ammunition magazine authorized for use with the pistol by the manufacturer of the pistol.  Repeals the prohibition on magazines with a capacity in excess of ten rounds. (HB248 HD1)

RELATING TO SENTENCING.

Requires jury factual determination of criteria for extended sentencing.  (HB1152 HD1)

RELATING TO ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A MINOR.

Expands the crimes of endangering the welfare of a minor in the first and second degrees to include situations in which an adult causes or permits a minor to inject, ingest, or inhale a controlled substance that was not prescribed by a physician. (HB1406 HD1)

RELATING TO PEDESTRIANS' RIGHT OF WAY.

Clarifies a driver's duty to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk.  Imposes fines for drivers and pedestrians who fail to comply with the crosswalk law based on the number of previous infractions of the same offense.  (SD1)
