RELATING TO THE NATURAL ENERGY LABORATORY OF HAWAII AUTHORITY. Expands the natural energy laboratory of Hawaii authority board of directors from eleven members to thirteen members by adding two additional members from among the tenants of the research and technology park.

RELATING TO ENERGY. Requires the energy resources coordinator to make available on the department of business, economic development, and tourism website a list of applications for ocean energy or other hydroelectric projects in and around Hawaii waters.

RELATING TO PESTICIDES. Establishes integrated pest management policies to prohibit the use of toxicity category I pesticides. Requires the posting of signs when pesticide is applied on school grounds or a playground.

If you have already submitted your testimony on the bills listed above for the hearing originally scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2007, you do not need to resubmit your testimony. Persons wishing to testify on the ENE/EDT bill should submit 25 copies of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 208, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. Persons wishing to testify on ENE-only bills should submit 20 copies of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 208, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. At the top of your testimony, please include your name, position/title, organization, contact information, the hearing date, bill number, bill title, your position on the measure (support, oppose, comments, amendments), and committee to which your testimony should be referred. Please submit separate testimony for each bill on which you are testifying. Please submit your testimony on one side of an 8˝x11-inch paper with 1-inch margins. E-mail testimony will not be accepted at the office. However, e-mail testimony for the bills scheduled in the above agenda may be sent to the Public Access Room at testimony@capitol.hawaii.gov. Or testimony may be faxed if less than 5 pages in length, to the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Office at 586-6659 or 1-800-586-6659 (toll free for neighbor islands), at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
