MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CHORE SERVICE PROGRAMS.

Appropriates funds for chore services programs for elderly and disabled residents.

RELATING TO ADULT RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES.

Amends authorized reimbursements to adult residential care providers as determined by the director of human services. Appropriates funds.

RELATING TO ADULT RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES.

Increases level of care payments for adult residential care providers. Appropriates funds for increased payments.

RELATING TO CARE HOMES.

Increases by $100 per resident per month, payments for type I adult residential care homes, adult foster homes, developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, and developmental disabilities apartment complexes.

Increases payments for: (1) type I ARCHs, developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, and adult foster homes, from not more than $521.90 to not less than $621.90; and (2) type II ARCHs from not more than $629.90 to not less than $729.90. Appropriates $          for FY 2006-2007.

RELATING TO CAREGIVING.

Establishes a joint legislative committee on family caregiving.

RELATING TO ELDERLY CARE.

Extends termination of PACE, the program for all inclusive care for the elderly from 6/30/2007 to 6/30/2009. Appropriates $        to DHS.
