HB 2204 HD1 (HSCR381-06)	RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS. Establishes the amount of interim revenue to be expended by OHA each fiscal year beginning with fiscal year 2005-2006, to better the conditions of native Hawaiians at $15,100,000. Appropriates $17,500,000 as the amount of revenues owed to OHA for the underpayment of OHA's pro rata portion of the public land trust between July 1, 2001 and June 30, 2005. Requires DLNR to provide an accounting of revenues from the public land trust.	HAW, FIN
HB 2930 HD1 (HSCR287-06)	RELATING TO HAWAIIAN TRADITIONAL AND CUSTOMARY PRACTICES. Establishes a pilot project in Waianae to designate areas in public parks for using plants and trees for Hawaiian traditional and customary gathering practices. Appropriates $500,000 for the pilot project.	HAW/WLO, FIN
HB 3216 HD1 (HSCR491-06)	RELATING TO THE ISLAND OF KAHO'OLAWE. Directs the auditor to conduct an audit to determine the feasibility of deploying alternative energy resources to meet the energy needs of the island of Kaho'olawe and submit a report of findings and recommendations to the legislature and governor before the convening of the 2007 regular session. HB 1888 (HSCR155-06)	RELATING TO INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION. Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to work with international agencies, universities, and organizations and promote Hawaii as a leader in the Pacific Basin in the exchange of information and development of renewable energy resources. HB 1889 (HSCR263-06)	RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS. Establishes the Office of International Affairs to coordinate and promote peace through improved economic, social, cultural, and scientific relations with other countries.	INT/EDB, FIN
HB 1890 (HSCR160-06)	RELATING TO SISTER STATE AND PROVINCE RELATIONSHIPS. Statutorily establishes a Hawaii sister state committee to recommend sister state or province relationships for the legislature's action.	INT/EDB, FIN
