The former Naniloa Hotel was auctioned approximately a year ago, and awarded to Hawai'i Outdoor Tours, Inc (operators of the newly named Naniloa Volcanoes Resort). Questions have arisen regarding the conditions of the lease agreement between the new owners and the State of Hawaii; as well as personnel and operational actions taken by the new owners. The Board of Land and Natural Resources, Hawai'i Outdoor Tours, Inc., and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union have been invited to provide information on the recent actions taken with regards to the hotel property and its employees. |
