RELATING TO CREDIT CARDS.

Prohibits financial institutions doing business in the State from issuing pre-approved applications for credit cards to consumers as a marketing ploy (HB2453 HD1).

RELATING TO GIFT CERTIFICATES.

Provides exemption to prohibition against charging service fees for gift certificates by authorizing issuer of an electronic card or certificate with multiple unaffiliated sellers to charge certain fees to card holders. Requires disclosure of fees on electronic card or certificate. (HB1980 HD1)

RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUOR.

Requires wine direct shippers to obtain a permit to ship wine to Hawaii residents. (HB1968 HD1)
