RELATING TO IRRIGATION PROJECTS. (BUNDA/BR)

Allows the Department to determine irrigation system expenses and revenues in June of each year. Would allow user notices to be sent through various means in lieu of costly registered mail.

RELATING TO AQUACULTURE. (BUNDA/BR)

Amends the definition of "aquaculture" to reflect the long-term trends in the industry, such as expansion of offshore production technologies and utilization of aquacultre for wild stock enhancement.

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE. (English)

Prohibits introduction of any species of nonnative plants and animals from captivity.

RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES. (SLOM)

Requires any person or entity who purchases large quantities of agricultural commodities for purposes of resale to verify the identity of the seller and record each such transaction on forms authorized by the chief of police in each county.

RELATING TO THE ORGANIC AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY. (BUEN)

Assists the organic agriculture industry by: (1) enforcing the use of organic labeling as required under the federal organic rule; (2) establishing requirements for recognition of certifying agents; and (3) establishing other necessary requirements and administrative penalties for violations.
