Senator Kurt Fevella is a lifelong Ewa Beach resident. He is a graduate of James Campbell High School and a longtime community leader and advocate. Since 1987, Senator Fevella has been devoted to helping his community and the State of Hawai'i. He commits most of his time assisting the people in his district, neighboring communities, and advocating for the people through legislation. His compassion and love for Ewa Beach is expressed through the countless hours of volunteering at food drives, supporting school activities, attending community board meetings, and participating in activities that benefits the ‘Ewa Beach community and the improvement of Hawai'i, overall. Meeting with stakeholders and members of society is a part of his duty as an elected senator but he makes it a priority to work with, for, and by the people for the benefit of the present and future generations. Being able to lend a helping hand to our low- and middle-class, is his way of showing that we are all in this together. For over a decade, he has been an active member of helping our communities from feeding the hungry, placing our homeless in shelters, looking after the health and welfare of our kupuna, to commending our children’s achievements in sports and celebrating graduations. Senator Fevella is in many ways more than a volunteer and not just a senator for the state, but also a board and Lion’s Club member in the community, a neighborhood security watchman, youth ministry supporter, and a community cleanup assistant. He has helped and advocated often, in many ways, especially if it means making Hawai'i better, one day at a time.
