[§523A-16] Action to establish claim. [Section effective July 1, 2009. For current section, see below.] A person, excluding another state, aggrieved by a decision of the administrator or whose claim has not been acted upon within one hundred twenty days after its filing may maintain an original action to establish the claim in the circuit court, naming the administrator as a defendant. If the aggrieved person establishes the claim in an action against the administrator, the court may award the claimant reasonable attorney's fees. [L 2008, c 55, pt of §1]
[§523A-16] Contents of safe deposit box or other safekeeping repository. [Section repealed July 1, 2009.] All tangible and intangible property held in a safe deposit box or any other safekeeping repository in this State in the ordinary course of the holder's business and proceeds resulting from the sale of the property permitted by other law, which remain unclaimed by the owner for more than five years after the lease or rental period on the box or other repository has expired, are presumed abandoned.
