[§302A-1192]  New century charter schools; administration of workers' compensation.  The department of human resources development shall administer workers' compensation claims for employees of new century charter schools, who shall be covered by the same self-insured workers' compensation system offered to other public employees and administrative state units, including the processing, investigation, and payment of claims; provided that:

     (1)  New century charter schools shall compile the preliminary claim form and forward it to the department of human resources development; and

     (2)  The department of human resources development shall receive no more than 0.07 per cent of the EDN 600 appropriation to process these workers' compensation claims. [L 2005, c 87, §16]
