§421-27 Penalty. Every cooperative association failing to comply with any of the statutes regarding cooperative associations shall forfeit to the State $10 for every violation, neglect, or failure to be recovered by action brought in the name of the State by the director of commerce and consumer affairs, which penalty shall be in addition to all fees in this chapter otherwise provided. A continuance of a failure to file the required report and to pay the required license fee shall be a separate offense for each thirty days of continuance. The director may, for good cause shown, reduce or waive the penalty imposed by this section.
