§127-3 Disaster relief advisory council. There shall be a disaster relief advisory council, called the "council", which shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the governor, one of whom shall be designated as chairperson. The council shall advise the director of disaster relief on all matters pertaining to disaster relief. Members of the council shall receive no compensation, but shall be reimbursed for their travel and other reasonable and necessary expenses incurred. Persons holding public office or employment in the state government, or any political subdivision, shall be eligible for appointment to the council.
