[§663M-7] Consumer credit protection. A credit reporting agency or a creditor doing business in the State shall not report negative credit information about a consumer if it knew or should have known that the consumer was unable to meet his or her financial obligation due to a year 2000 error by a computer-based system, including the inability of the consumer to transact financial business or make payments due to a year 2000 error by a computer-based system.
