§80-8 Split-shift pay. Any officer or employee of the State or any county, or independent board or commission thereof, whose regular hours of work are divided into separate shifts shall be paid, in addition to the officer's or employee's basic compensation, at the rate of fifteen cents for each hour of work that shall be deemed to be on a split-shift.
