§79-6 Vacations of employees at Kalaupapa. Each person employed by the department of health at the Kalaupapa Settlement, including kokuas, parolees, and active patients, and who does not come within the provisions of section 79-1, shall be entitled to and granted an annual vacation with pay calculated at the rate of one and one-half days for every thirty days during which the person worked a minimum of six hours. The vacation shall be taken as a whole or intermittently with the approval of the director of health or the director's delegated agent, but no vacation allowance shall be accumulated beyond the calendar year.
