§76-71 Department of civil service. [Section effective until June 30, 2002. For section effective July 1, 2002, see below.] There shall be a department of civil service for each of the counties of Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai, which shall include a personnel director and a commission consisting of five members appointed by the mayor with the approval of the council of the respective counties.
