§76-50 Compensation and expenses of commission. [Section effective until June 30, 2002. For section effective July 1, 2002, see below.] Each member of the civil service commission shall be paid compensation at the rate of $10 per day for each day's actual attendance at a meeting, but not to exceed, in the aggregate, $100 in any month and when any member is required to travel from any island to another island in the State in the performance of such duties, the member shall be allowed the member's reasonable traveling expenses. §76-50 Compensation and expenses of a merit appeals board. [Section effective July 1, 2002. For present provision, see above.] Each member of a merit appeals board shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for expenses, including travel expenses, necessary for the performance of their duties.
