§103-54 Wages of certain laborers paid weekly; penalty.
All contracts executed pursuant to this chapter involving the employment of laborers shall provide for weekly payment of wages to all laborers whose rate of compensation is $5 or less per day. Every laborer employed by the contractor or any subcontractor under any such contract whose rate of compensation is $5 or less per day shall be paid the laborer's wages weekly by the laborer's employer, whether or not the requirement is set forth in the contract.
